World class instructors and tuition
Kickboxing classes - what do we teach?
The Martial Arts Place teaches a form of kickboxing called Mo-Gei-Do™ (meaning 'The Way of No Boundaries'). This martial arts system has evolved from a combination of European and Eastern martial arts including kickboxing, karate and boxing.
Our martial arts experience
Led by Russell Cronk and William Lai, the team of instructors at The Martial Arts Place have all have been professionally involved with martial arts for over 15 years, competing at national and international level. The team includes many British Champions as well as European and World Championship medalists. All of our kickboxing instructors have been police vetted, hold full professional training qualifications, and are fully insured qualified first aiders.
Our fully matted kickboxing Dojo in Swiss Cottage, NW3 is home to over 25 scheduled courses each week, with private tuition also available all day, every day.
We are also experienced in working with schools, councils and businesses and are available for private hire or special events of all kinds.
Don't forget we also offer kickboxing classes for children.
What our members say
Our members range from students to celebrities and business professionals – but once inside, we treat everyone the same. Here's what some of them had to say about us.
"A positive, encouraging, safe environment in which to learn, with plenty of personal attention and feedback."
John, 51, Advertising Creative Director
"The atmosphere is great - the instructors and students are really supportive of each other regardless of level or grade. It's a brilliant environment in which to train and learn."
Lina, 26, Assistant Underwriter
"The rule goes "Leave your shoes and ego at the door" - it's a friendly and relaxed atmosphere where people are encouraged to learn and progress at their own speed irrespective of their skill, experience, sex or age."
Justin, 33, Law Firm Partner
"Because of the way the club is run, the environment is very safe and very relaxed. People train hard and take their sport seriously but never so seriously they can't smile and enjoy themselves."
Corinne, 24, Youth Worker
"If you really want to get fit, have fun doing it, but challenge yourself in a safe environment, this is the way to do it."
Oliver, 35, Mortgage Advisor
"The instructors are very skilled and technically brilliant, and they can break down and explain the principles of any move. They run a disciplined club, but it is very friendly and laughter is encouraged!"
Joanne, 22, Teacher
